Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor transitioning from 13 years of service in the public school system as a school counselor and special education teacher into private practice. My background as a school counselor and teacher gives me a unique, deeply grounded understanding of the daily pressures, transitions, and social dynamics that individuals and families face. I am also able to help individuals and families learn how to advocate for their needs in the school system. In my practice, I blend evidence-based techniques with creative, holistic approaches to meet you exactly where you are. I specialize in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you identify and reshape unhelpful thought patterns, while utilizing Internal Family Systems to explore how your different parts and background impact your current well-being. Additionally, I incorporate Sandtray Therapy, a powerful, expressive modality that allows both children and adults to visually process complex emotions when words aren't quite enough. Together, we will build practical coping tools, heal relational patterns, and foster lasting growth in a safe, compassionate space.
